GROJOGAN SEWU WATERFALL

A. Brief

Grojogan Sewu Waterfall often crowned Tourism Object Example of Central Java Province level because it  has a landscape so beautiful. This tourism object is a combination of forest and waterfall tours. The complex is a tourist attraction with a large forest area 20 ha, which is managed by conservation agencies SDA (KSDA) Bogor.

This tourism object million beauty store. High waterfall about 81 meters to reach the main attraction for visitors who come. Outpouring waterfall that is not centered on one point, but spread to various parts,
adding more charm beauty.

B. Privileges

When I first went to the location of attractions Grojogan Sewu Waterfall, visitors will be surprised with the monkeys who were intentionally released. To get to the bottom location of the waterfall attractions, visitors need to walk through the hundreds of existing staircase and neat. Arriving at the base location, visitors can enjoy the natural scenery is so beautiful, especially Grojogan Sewu Waterfall. Grojogan Sewu Waterfall located at the foot of Mount Sewu, Sub Tawangmangu, Karanganyar regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia.

D. Access

Visitors can use a private vehicle or public kedaraan (bus) to get to the location of this tourist object.  If you want to use public transport, visitors can ride a big bus Tawangmangu department of Solo-Solo Tirtonadi Terminal rate of about Rp. 10.000,00 ( July 2009 ). Route is the Solo-Karanganyar-Karangpandan-Tawangmangu. Travel from Solo City to the location can be gone for about a half hour.

Arriving at the terminal Tawangmangu, visitors who use public buses need to walk along approximately one kilometer to reach the location of attractions. Or it can also ride public transportation fares L300 with about Rp. 2.000,00 ( July 2009 ). There are two options entrance to the location of attractions, namely the door 1 which is at the top and 2 doors in bottom slope.

F. Accommodation and Other Facilities

Waterfall in the region there are a number Grojogan Sewu supporting facilities, such as swimming pools, jungle animal park, and playground for children. In addition, tourist attraction in the region have diner, souvenir stalls, fruit stalls, Mushalla, toilets, and so forth.
